Academics

The basis of teaching at Lendy Park is formed on a Christian Worldview. Our goal is to equip pupils with the skills to live life as Christ would: hence our school motto, “The Way, the Truth and the Life”. The curriculum is based on syllabi devised by the Government’s Primary Education Development Unit and supplemented with the Cambridge Primary Framework.

Core subjects, such as English, Shona and Mathematics, are taught during the early part of the morning. Each and every day is started with Religious and Moral Education in the form of devotions and praise and worship. The content of these devotional periods is guided by our Spiritual Formation Plan. Formal homework preparation is part of the curriculum from the early grades upwards. We aim to provide top-quality, all-round education for all our children. To this end we are working towards our certification from the Association of Christian Schools, Zimbabwe, through the Pathways to School Improvement Plan.

ECD Centre

ECD A

The school runs an ECD A for grade 00. This is for children aged 4 years. The same rigorous standards are applied to these classes as they are considered essential for the eventual academic success of the child.

ECD B

The school runs an ECD B for grade 0. This is for children aged 5 years. The same rigorous standards are applied to these classes as they are considered essential for the eventual academic success of the child.
