About Us

Born out of vision for the need of a sound biblically based Christian education, a number of Christian Churches in Marondera formed a trust in 1990 with the purpose of establishing a co-educational primary school. Lendy Park is a member of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ), Association of Trust Schools in Zimbabwe (ATS) and Association of Christian Schools International . Lendy is a non-racial institution that aims to set a consistently high standard of education at an affordable level in the country’s economic climate. We offer an outstanding education and strive for balance between academic, sporting and cultural emphasis.

The classes will never exceed thirty in number so that the teachers are able to give personal attention to the pupils. The school is set amongst Msasa woodlands about three kilometres in the south-west of Marondera on twelve hectares of land. Lendy accepts weekly boarders who are housed in two boarding houses.

To provide a curriculum that preserves the balance between the pupils' spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional, physical and cultural needs.

To give pupils the opportunity to contribute to their own growth. At Lendy Park, we ask the children to take an active part in their learning experience by taking some responsibility for their learning. This is facilitated through the provision of a stimulating, healthy and moral learning environment by the teacher.

To promote the development of respect for, and rapport with, authority. Emphasis is placed on the importance of collaboration between the pupils, parents and staff in maintaining discipline and in observing rules of conduct.

To encourage parental involvement in the education and stimulation of their children. To facilitate open links of communication between staff and parents through open days and consultation days.
